Ckd stage 2 with one kidney
So ,I’m new here but I have some questions about my situation. My mom worked with radiation in the 90s and well, they didn’t know the damage that could be done (in chile there wasn’t much information about it). So I was diagnosed with an uterecystocele and left duplex, had to have 6 surgeries from 24h old to 7 years old wich ended with the removal of 2/3 of my left kidney. Obviously i’ve had yearly appointments with my nefrologist (some years I had them ever y six months) and well, I’ve had al least once pyelonephritis every two years (I didn’t have to always go to the clinic cus my mom is in the Health area so we had that stuff in the house). Anyway, I’m 30 now and had some test donde because i was diagnosed with bipolar type 2 and ironically the only medicine that has worked on me is lithium. So I Just got my last results. I have cystin c in 1.00mg/L and ckd- Epi cystin c of 82. I looked It up and there isn’t much info about the test on people with one kidney, so I was wondering if anyone here knew moré about it?
