Imagine someone from the Shopgoodwill website team telling you that they never get DDOSed...

↑Meme ↓Rant

I swear there is someone doing it for crazy good vintage video game lots, experienced this a dozen times over the last 6 moths or so...not some special time of day, but all of a sudden 2 mins before close, website is basically unresponsive. I know the odds it's that item and not one of the 200,000 other ones is slim but....everytime, somebody has won some stuff worth 1500 bucks, for a couple hundred, without a single bid or bid war in the last 2 minutes of the auction

OG Xbox-Scene controller jewel.

Just found one of my OG controllers with an XS jewel. I'm a bit fuzzy, I think a member made and sold them at the time. It's also my extra button controller that jeremydammit and I made for countless XS forumgoers back in the day. Halo 2 competition used to be pretty fierce, we sold hundreds. Nice flush click-y buttons like this Link to the extra button tutorial . Someone here might even still have one who knows.

Just throwing out as a warning, as I'm sure a lot of people try to win items from the same goodwill so you don't feel as ripped off by there insane shipping and handling practices (a pencil and a 25lb dumbbell both cost 15 dollars to ship apparently)

Portland Goodwill (Columbia Willamette) has apparently got a new inventory system, in the year of our lord 2026, that can't do combined shipping from shopgoodwill website. I don't know 100% if they bought this software from Temu or Aliexpress, but that's most likely the case.

In my case, it was impossible for them to figure out how to drop a N64 cart into a large box containing another item I won, without charging an additional 20 dollars to handle said cart, and ship it in it's own 12"x12"x6" box with 35 dollars worth of bubble wrap inside....

It IS Portland, so it doesn't surprise me, as I'm sure the manager bought the inventory software from a company that only makes organic vegan software that supports LGBT rights or something.

I am being a smartass for comedic and/or ragebait purposes
