Julian!! everybody give it up for Trailer Park Boys and my newest F/O crush Julian!! TPB is my current comfort show ❤️ it's been right under my nose forever funnily enough, I have a lot of extended family who are fans and I've sort of passively watched it when it's been on in the background whenever I visit but now I'm doing a dedicated watchthrough on my own and I laurrrv it...idk if it's because the familial association I have with it, the fact I grew up living in a trailer for most of my childhood, probably a mix of the two tbh but. it's strangely? nostalgic? it kinda makes me miss my hometown 🥺 again probably a bit of an odd sentiment on account of the (vague hand wave at the entire show) but whatevies. anyways apologies for expressing my feelings on the internet, the diary factory burned down. (also ngl part of the reason I started watching is bc Julian reminded me of APA!Bradshaw appearance-wise COUGH but what hooked me was the character work and how grounded it and the worldbuilding feels despite being such a balls to the wall bonkers show lol. like I'm only in season 4 and already have SO many ideas down for my s/i and whatnot bc there's a lot to play off and work with like I am ROTATING her and Julian in my brain. that being said I don't mean this in a derogatory way at all bc I love having something to sink my teeth into but it has an ABSURD amount of lore for what I thought it was going to be going into it?? tell me why I'm having to look up a watch order guide for this like I had to do with Stargate bc like. !?!?)
