I think I just had a profound experience?

Im not really sure what to think right now. I tried the introduction of the gateway tapes two nights ago, felt nothing and thought I’d try again another time. Last night, I woke up in the middle of the night, then while I had my eyes closed I thought to myself if the source or somebody is actually out there, to give me a sign, and then a few moments later it was almost like I felt pressure on my head and arms and like I was spinning, then I think I was seeing almost like a city of bones, then I saw what sort of resembled a face with long arms but not entirely human, then I saw a lot of geometric shapes, then I traveled to a futuristic city and then finally came back. It was almost like I left my body, I could feel something physically pushing on me or that was sitting on me, and like I was traveling very fast. I didn’t hear any voices or anything, but I’ve never had anything like this happen to me. I’m not sure what to think right now.

How do I know I’m doing it right?

I’ve always struggled with being present in meditation and imagining things in my minds eye, so maybe I’m just not built for the tapes, but what level do you start to feel and see things? I got through the first introductory lesson with the releasing negative energy and receiving healing energy up to the brain, and he talked about seeing visuals but I saw and felt nothing.

Kinda hallucinating?

Does this med make your vision distorted? Sometimes like everything gets really wide and proportions look weird and off, like things that are small look tall or I get tunnel vision. The best thing I could find about this is that it might be Alice in wonderland syndrome, at least it describes what happens. It’s always very brief, a few minutes, and only in the morning. It’s strange and disorienting.

Another d2 agonist or dopamine agonist coprescribed?

Hello fellow caplyta journey men and women, I’m wondering if anyone has been coprescribed another d2 agonist with caplyta. I believe the increase in dopamine is what made me finally feel normal, at least socially, but that effect has diminished significantly. I did recently get upped to 42 mg, so I’m hoping that works! I’ve been reading about other d2 agonists, and I think pramipexole would be interesting to try if it’s ever also prescribed with caplyta. I know two antipsychotics is basically a no go, but I’m wondering if there are other dopamine boosters that aren’t antipsychotics that I could also go on. Anybody start feeling in the zone on caplyta socially and it remaining?

Benefits for a few days which dissipated

Hi, I’ve been on caplyta for a little over a month. Last week for about 3-5 days, I felt slightly loopy but still myself and not enough that I felt I couldn’t drive. I started on it for the antidepressant effects and particularly for its effect on dopamine, which I think would help me with my motivation to do things I like/need to do as well as for the dopamine of social reward, as social fluidity is difficult and I get anxiety when talking to people. For that 3-5 day window where I felt slightly loopy, I felt like conversations were flowing naturally, and that I couldn’t drive truly be myself. However, the feeling has gone away, with most of the benefits, though socializing is slightly better still, just not as much during that time frame. Has anyone experienced this? I’m only on 21mg so I know the dose can max at 42mg, and it’s still new so I’m hopeful, because I’ve tried a ton of other meds which didn’t work. I’m also taking escitalopram, and buspbar. It’s still benefiting me but I thought I could finally feel normal so I’m a little bummed out be it finishing slightly.

I think.. I’m good?

I’ve been on lumateperone for about a month now without getting relief from a variety of antidepressants, ssris, ssnris, and others for years, and recently there has been a shift. I feel a little spacey, but it’s like talking with people isn’t extremely difficult and awkward now. I don’t feel tense or weird about conversations anymore. I’m hoping that this is because of the medicine, which is giving me more dopamine, and I’m hesitant to declare my anxiety journey is over, but the last 5 days has been…good, and that’s something I haven’t been able to say for a long time. Maybe I’ll make a post in another month with my status, but if it’s truly lumateperone, or caplyta, then I thought I’d share in case anyone else is struggling.

Clogged ear insanity

I’m going insane with how dizzy I feel and how odd I feel with my ear feeling clogged. I’ve tried everything, antihistamines, nasal sprays, flushing my nose, jaw manipulations, stretches, massages, and nothing seems to help. Does anybody have any unconventional methods that helped?
