They’ve just said in the Q&A crusade won’t be in codex but “crusade like things will come in packages like the maelstrom release that gave crucible of champions”. Thoughts?
So there may still be hope for the more granular army/unit xp, tracking, traits ect
And yes once again we can just use this editions stuff ported over…
No mention of crusade as it was, so could still be sticking around… or this could be replacing it making it a much shorter and less involved form.
Obviously as mentioned a hundred times here we can just homebrew the complexity and length with current stuff
Just wanna put this as a main posting as I’ve seen it in a few comment threads and would value people’s thoughts…
I think there is a bit of hope for BW being 2DP (although I’m huffing a lot of copium). At the end of the video they’re talking about the maulerfiend, the said roughly “…you could go the other way and take your zerkers, characters, your berzerker warband and drop a maulerfiend and defiler in there with cleave 2”
I’m hoping they mean the detachment bezerker warband and not just loads of units of bezerkers… but I doubt it, it will likely be 3DP
Edit: the bit I talk about is in like the last 15 seconds of the video, art of war also discuss this in their video… again this is extreme copium!
Not to doom… but… no more crusade books? Just the dominatus deck to string match play games together? Yes we need to wait and see for when it comes out but feels like crusade blessing ect might be dead on a campaign level. Maybe we still get the 10ed codex ones for a while until the codex rotation.
Others have any thoughts?
