Non-lockable Fuel Cap

I recently got a 2014 T100, and it has the standard fuel cap which can’t be locked.

Has anyone ever had any problems with that? I was thinking of replacing it, but I might just be paranoid.

I mean, who would either try and get fuel out or other stuff in?

I was just watching the David Suchet series of Poirot, where Captain Hastings is played by Hugh Fraser, who was Wellington from 1994 onwards.

In this episode (from 1993), there was a character named Barton Russell, some rich oil magnate involved in dodgy dealings with an Argentine junta. Somehow his voice sounded familiar, not so much the voice itself, but his manner of speaking.

I went to the trusty IMDB, and discovered it was David Throughton, who was Sharpe’s Wellington in 1993… I hadn’t recognised the actor, as he had a moustache and was sans a fake nose.

Bit of trivia, really, but I found it fascinating that the present and future Wellington were both featured in that episode!

Oh, and Hugh Ross, another actor in the very same episode, happened to be Major Munro (in 1995).

Small world!
