How bad is this rust?

Seller had a 2015 V7 special, he’s asking for $4,500.

10,300 miles on it, he’s the third owner. I test rode it yesterday and it felt great. Would have pulled the trigger there but some of the rust is giving me pause. Can anyone weigh in on if this is more surface level and can be taken care of by cleaning or replacing bolts…or if I should be more concerned and not mess with this bike. The rust on the drive shift is the bit that really made me think twice.

Thanks for any help yall can provide!

Stacked a little tall haha

It still sits below my shoulder blades and it isn't very heavy so it'll be fine haha. Kriega 30L / 20L / 5L dry bags.

Triumph Scrambler paint quality

Hey fellow triumph owners. I bought this bike less than 1 month ago and noticed a small bubble. I rubbed my thumb against it and it chipped the paint. I noticed another mark on the other side I am afraid to touch now. Have been using the same cleaning products I used on my 2017 street scrambler that never gave me any issues. This paint feels different to me almost like plastic.. anyone else running into any problems with paint quality? Does triumph help with this? Thanks!

My 2006 T100

Just took this pic the other day after I washed it up. Thought I’d post it and share. I’ve owned her for about 15 years and done more maintenance, mods, tweaks, and tinkers than I can remember. But I think I’ve finally reached equilibrium and got her where I want her now, except maybe I’ll put an LED headlight in someday (I very rarely ride at night, so I can’t justify it at this point).

Recently bought my dream motorcycle a 2008 t100. Have few questions about customization.

Overall I love my bike but I feel like the light concept on these was a bit obnoxious. Can anyone recommend a light kit or options I can look into for streamlining the stock lights? Something more minimal but still effective? *Note, I had to bring it inside my apartment living room for a while because I’m still trying to find a good storage garage. 🤦‍♂️😆

Norman Hyde Suspension

Just bought YSS Shocks and progressive fork springs from Hydes. Anyone have any experience with these parts. In particular the front springs.
I’m wondering whether to fit the spacers provided. They say they give a firmer ride. Don’t want it too hard though.
I weigh just under 100kg.

Helmet lock location and brand

I’m trying to install a helmet lock on my T100 and looking for suggestions. I bought one from Hogworkz and found a rubber oring to fill the space because the bar is too skinny. Hoping it doesn’t move or rattle because I tried this same one before but without the rubber and it rattled and scraped the bar.

I’m curious what other people have done, where you put the lock and what brand you have installed. Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated!

Why do people on the UK hate on Bobbers?

Got mine last week. Most people I’ve told have said something along the lines of “bold choice” or worse.
Obviously I like it but it seems to split opinions a fair bit. Why?

Tank or pinstripes misaligned?

Hi guys, on my ‘25 bobber icon, it looks like either the tank is off centre or the stripes painted onto the tank are. I’m just looking down from the front and using the handlebar mount as my reference point - just looks like that centre stripe is off to the left. Overall the bike looks dead straight so just wondering if anyone had any insights or views. TIA

Who else just stares at their bike in the evenings?

Sometimes I think about new accessories but mostly I just appreciate it for what it is.

Normal engine noise

This is normal right? I've always had Hondas and Yamahas and they didn't make so much noise. I listened to others engines on here and I think they are equally noisy but I can't tell.

She's finally Home !

Five months to lay my hands on her, liked so many other bikes and gave up on them as my interests changed (matured) over the years. She is my forever bike. Took to her like a duck to water after my last ride which was 15 years ago.

Some accessories came in the mail today 1200x

Triumph high fender, headlight grille and Kelpi hindsight mirrors.

Now to save for Hitchcox exhaust, smaller signals and a tail tidy.
