I’m starting to take my 10 yo on short rides with me, I thought of getting a belt with handles or a backrest -for peace of mind-. Ideally one that I can easily install when I ride with my daughter and take off afterwards. The problem is I don’t have a fender. Not sure how it works, do they attach to the frame or to the fender? Any feedback appreciated!

Going camping with my 10 yo daughter in a couple weeks, we'll be near Livingston Manor so I'm looking for easy and scenic hikes not super far from our campground, and any other activities for kids. I saw Kaaterskill Falls is nice and Mine Kill Falls, but Mine Kill is almost 2 hrs away. Is it worth the drive there, or are there other scenic, easy hikes closer? Maybe around the reservoir?
