I was considering getting this, but I haven’t found any threads or YouTube video talking about their experience with it. Is it worth it? I ride only on Freeway and around town. No gravel roads but I do ride in the rain as my bike is my only vehicle for daily commuting.
I recently bought my first 2017 Triumph Street Twin T100 and I’m looking to make upgrades. I want to upgrade the chain, Brakes and discs, heated grips, sump guard and shocks to name a few. Any other upgrades you would recommend and where to buy from? Brands to look out for or stay away from? Thank you so much!
When I saw this weapon was in the game I was the most excited for this. It’s got Aura, its attacks look so cool and a spear is a great weapon for keeping distance.
That’s about it. When I earned this weapon I felt ‘whelmed’. The enemies in the game, especially the boss you fight to earn it lead me to believe it would be way better than it actually is.
The weapon has terrible tracking in close range fights when the enemies having some type attack where they step forward or lung causing your light attacks to miss constantly.
The thrust and lunging attacks don’t feel as good of a distance keeping tool when Axatana and the Axe & Dagger have incredible running spin attacks that can cause insane stagger and status inflictions.
Speaking of Statuses, it doesn’t have great options. Phantom is just not great in its current state it sounds way better on paper than it does practice. I get it that we have a bit of an imbalance of Statuses right now and I hope that gets addressed but damn, it sucks when the only real effective status available is quite middling.
The Special attacks are also another gripe I have. The Infused stone is such a cool opportunity to give an additional ranged attack within your toolkit thats not just your sidearm, but Perforation doesn’t really do anything noticeable and phantom stacks aren’t worth the resolve stacks when you have the Trebuchaxe and that makes far better work of Phantom in the first place. Which, I don’t really find the spinning Beyblade effect the the Trebuchaxe offers, I dunno, just feels lame in a game like this, but that’s literally probably just me not what I’m here to actually talk about.
Conquerers Reward feels like the stronger choice, but you gotta be in their face and have zero I-Frames which is crazy considering Hexapod gives Warp Stacks, Fragile stacks AND I-Frames. I dunno. It just feels like a huge miss.
I hope these are all something the devs are looking into and maybe as infusions get tuned over time it will help, but man, the weapon just under performs in every category and I really hope it gets reworked.
EDIT: Wanted to say a few things: One, hugely appreciate all the comments and traction this post is getting. I get that not all of us will agree and we all play differently but the conversations and all the different discussions being had are great nonetheless! Two, I thought I would mention a few things I think could help the Black Needle behave more inline with this middle ground of a short hand fast attack and large bladed or blunted weapon.
Spears or Pole-arms by design are meant to keep distance. I think if when the avatar thrusts or lunges, maybe they could hold further back on the shaft to keep distance between their body and the targets.
Obviously the tracking needs to be fixed somehow.
I think if Both Phantom and Fragile got some quality buffs or even lacing in some type of posture damage into the intrinsic trait of the weapon would be a wonderful retooling of the weapon.

EDIT 2: I also forgot to mention that I think if we d some I-Frames to the rapid thrust Special ability and maybe relook at how the spear throw works that would be great because as of right now, I have zero reason to throw the spear when I have so many good range options with sidearms
I have a 2017 Triumph Street Twin and I’m obsessed with this taillight and wanted to find it for my bike but this is a 2025 Speed Twin and I don’t even know if it’s fixture I can get for my bike.
Anyone know if I can and if so where to get it? If there’s a modification I’ll need that you recommend, I’m extremely well versed in custom fabrication if I can at the very least get the light.

When your pattern recognition picks up on the consistency of people backing out of commitments with you and instead of keeping the commentary inside, you name it to their face when they might also be undiagnosed and instead of connecting over our weird brains you push friends away because they’re now aware of being perceived and you made the whole thing more uncomfortable?
I always had a soft spot for this hand cannon but it always struggled. We have so many ways to heal team mates and provide support now BUT we also have the greatest build diversity ever. Does this fit anywhere in a support build or did it die with the past and is just a really pretty hand cannon?

I’m gathering that there’s a lot more niche uses in PvE and is a good go to support weapon when you’re a young guardian and don’t have access to the meta choices.
I’m also gathering that absolutely has a place in PvP and I never thought of that for some reason 🤷🏻♀️
I’m curious if someone could try and make a build that could squeeze as much juice out of the weapon as possible. Regardless, it was so fun to find out this still is a go too for many! Even if it’s not Meta
It’s been a few years since I last played and apparently we can craft weapons now. This was in my list of patterns to unlock on Mars but I don’t know where it drops anymore. Does it even drop? That would be frustrating if they left open patterns to find but you can’t, like wtf
My partner has two kids and I’m trying to figure a fun, family friendly way to celebrate mother’s day together. I’m not going to lie, I feel stupid, because I don’t know of something off the top of my head we can do. I haven’t celebrated mother’s day in well over a decade considering my relationship with my own mother is non existent. I have no kids of my own and I have a pretty big surgery in less than two weeks that’s been occupying my mind so it wasn’t at the forefront of my mind.
The kids now consider me a mother figure in their lives but this is recent and in many ways doesn’t really register. I’ve gotten her a gift, but I need help with ideas to go and celebrate as family together. Thoughts?
I miss this game dreadfully. It was such an incredible racing experience and seeing the latest Star Wars racer game coming out and reminding me of the pod racer game from the same gaming era, I miss my high speed, sound barrier breaking motorcycles with mounted weapons. It was peak, and it had a peak soundtrack.
