I think it’s mostly accepted for wings (can be balanced or become more skewed at a given time) but what about tritype? I seemed more 4 fixed when I was younger but I resonate more with 3 now.

I’ve seen so many people say but this but when asked to explain they just ignore me (I’ve seen these people active and responding to other comments..) or it’s some surface level explanation like “Sx7 is too illogical and emotional” irrational definitely but I’m not seeing illogical? ILE is an irrational type too. In general it’s more Fe valuing than Fi valuing, the theatricalness & the seeking of positive and carefree environments is Fe. The sx7 also is described as struggling with intimate relationships, boundaries, and emotions (a lot of them are pseudo-emotions, generated from the head). Expressing emotions isn’t Fi, but Fe, so I’m not sure where the contradictions lay (people say it’s with Fi PoLR) but so7 is also very theatrical and possess the same emotional withdrawing behaviour and ILE is accepted for it. Some quotes from the E7 book are taken to support what I said but I can also provide more. Please let me know how the combination doesn’t work if you believe in it!

“They tend to establish non-hierarchical, horizontal relationships, either with the subordinate or with the boss.” (Democratic > Aristocratic. Ti isn’t inherently about hierarchy)

“That is to say, more than feeling directly, he thinks about what he is feeling” (Pseudo emotion)

“To a head triad type, the uncontrollable nature of the emotional world is frightening. He experiences it as potentially dangerous due to the vulnerability in which it could leave him.
Intellectualizing life, on the other hand, is a form of control that gives a certain feeling of security.”

“The sexual E7 is emotionally very active (hence a certain similarity with the E2). But don't be fooled by appearances: your emotion is triggered from your head rather than from the experience itself.” (pseudo emotion)

“It is paradoxical that a character who is looking for an audience for his cognitive display has such a low quality of contact with others. The consumerist greed ends up causing an incomplete contact, a non-relationship with the other. He appears to be very sociable and close when in fact he is the opposite: insensitive and distant, while pretending to be taken into account and the slightest insult can be taken with hypersensitivity.”

I’m trying to differentiate if I’m an ILE or IEE. I can see myself being both, but I may also just be misunderstanding what Fi PoLR is. Any help differentiating the two, or core distinguishers, would be appreciated! If you want to know some details about me specifically, I have listed some things below.

•	I would consider myself a morally ambiguous person. I don’t really care for “right or wrong” but whether it makes logical sense to me. A good example of this being the blue button red button thing. I chose red not because I don’t care about people but it makes the most logical sense when you combine practical factors.

•	I love theory, but I suck at application. Calculus is one of my favourite subjects, but when I have to apply it practically, I find myself struggling. 

•	I struggle in subjects without logical consistences, such as English. I’m much more of a STEM person because there’s a clear right and wrong because of theory, but more ethical subjects like English make me struggle because I struggle to find structure in them. 

•	I’m a very inquisitive person and I like knowing how things work, not because I don’t understand but because I want to build my internal understanding. 

•	In discussions about my feelings, I am very inconsistent. I often don’t know why I’m feeling a certain way, or what I’m even feeling. I often contradict myself because I don’t understand them. 

•	I don’t really care if I’m called dumb, I understand how someone could reach this conclusion. I consider myself book smart but not street smart. 

•	I pretend not to care if someone calls me a bad person/insensitive person, but in reality criticisms like this make me feel ashamed and vulnerable.

•	I hate talking about my feelings or being emotionally vulnerable with people. I’m not completely insensitive to emotion though, like when I see someone cry I often cry too. I don’t have a lot of empathy, but I use sympathy to try and comfort people. But people’s feelings generally annoy me. I like presenting cheerfully at all times, but if I want to cry I’ll let myself cry.

•	I’m constantly saying insensitive or inappropriate things without realizing it. I don’t understand why these things would hurt another person, and I often get defensive about it. I’m constantly being corrected on this but I never learn.

•	I trust people too easily, which is why I end up being friends with a lot of manipulative people without realizing it.

•	I don’t like intellectual debates very much because it’s hard for me to formulate my thoughts. I like watching them a lot for my own understanding though. I admire people who can explain their thoughts coherently. I only like to argue when I’m confident in my understanding. I’m also too lazy to explain my thoughts. 

•	In an intellectual discussion, if someone’s arguments are more logical than mine, it’s not hard for me to admit I’m wrong. In ethical issues, it’s very hard for me to admit that I’m wrong.

•	Dumb people annoy me heavily. People who dismiss logical arguments and use feelings heavily annoy me as well. When discussing with people like these, it’s quick for me to get angry and start attacking them back.

•	I don’t struggle with detecting if something is inconsistent. If something makes no logical sense to me, it’s hard for me to understand it.

•	I’m quick to generalize people based on patterns. I can tell when I like someone or I don’t. My thinking about people can be very black and white.

•	Getting close to someone is worrying for me because I’m afraid I’m going to say something insensitive and ruin everything. Generally, I thrive better in group situations.

A lot of sx7 descriptions describe a hypersensitive, oblivious, irrational clown who just chases after their own pleasures without thinking for a moment what others may want or the risks involved in it. Community stereotypes really don’t help either and I’m beginning to think I’m just a mistyped six or something 💔 Is it unusual for sx7s to be quite realistic, prepared, rational, and contentious people? Even in very unhealthy levels, I never drowned myself in that level of optimism and idealism. It seems really illogical to me and an easy way to destroy your life. Is this behaviour fundamentally contradictory to Sx7? I would especially like to hear from other sx7s!!
