Meet Kuting, the stray kitten in our area with a swollen leg.

On August 12, 2026, we noticed swelling in Kuting's right leg, and it has been progressing since then. What we thought was a simple inflamation turned out to be complicated and worse. She has been under the veterinarian’s care since August 14 and is receiving continuous treatment, but still in pain.

As of today, the doctors have also noticed a small lump in her left leg. Based on their assessment, she will need to be confined for several weeks to months for continuous medication, leading to her full recovery.

We are grateful to those who have already donated. Because of you, we were able to pay P4,600 from her running vet bills. Our bill as of August 18 is now P11,350.

Last Aug. 12, we noticed the swelling in the right leg of Kuting and it has been progressing since then. We had her rushed to the vet clinic yesterday for urgent care. Today, they performed a procedure to professionally clean her wounds by removing the dead tissues around the wounded area.

The procedure was successful, and she is now in recovery. Based on the latest assessment of the doctors, she will need to be confined for several weeks to months for continuous care leading to her full recovery.
