Are there any SOP/Best practices for an update to install?

1. Is it safe to update the car in a basement considering downloading of the update is already done?

2. Is it necessary to sit inside the car with the key as the car updates ? Should the car detect a passanger in seat for update to go on smoothly?

3. Do we need the key inside the car for system to not auto shut down?

4. I was trying to lock the car with the key but was unable to as the update was happening any possible way to do that ?

5. Is it safe to put the car on 3.3 kw slow charging when updates are being installed

6. Is it safe to put the car on 11 kw charging or even more DC charging 60-120 kw?

7. Any other things worth considering best practices etc.

Today TPMS warned me of my front left tyre loosing pressure. I thought I was ready for this day. I had purchased a Michelin tyre inflator just for this day. Unboxed the inflator and I saw that it needs to be connected to the car power socket which is in the boot near the rear right tyre, the wire cannot reach the front left tyre.

Am i a noob here and there is trick to it or is purchasing an extender my only option?
