Decided to replace some siding under a leaky gutter, holy s*#t…
No WRB, rotted osb, possible rotted studs, rotted trim on garage opening and outside wall. wtf do I do now? Decided to stop pulling hardie to reevaluate. I work in kitchens, not this shit… if the studs are rotted around this area, could I still sister new studs to them and be fine? I guess I should pull the sheet rock behind this and see how bad the rot is before going forward or do I just call someone and never look at it again 🤦♂️
