Overheard a young woman talking to her daughter, maybe about 6, standing in front of a world map. Daughter: where are we on this map? (Insert long pause) Mom: I don’t think we’re on this one.
It’s tiring talking about the past. And I’d like to move early conversations to the present and future. What are some conversation starters to do that? I’m not suggesting to never talk about the past but it sure can tend to dominate.
