What do I do about this rough skin around my nails?

Hand cream doesn’t really cut it most of the time and I usually snip it off with clippers but that just spreads the edge around.

Anyone know what this big earthwork is all about by Aylesford?

They've been working on this since Spring 2025 at least, and I finally got some shots of it. Looks like huge fields that they can flood and drain at will and some massive cisterns. Is it for rice? This seems like a huge project!
