Developers - what did you do again?
The Mac update was installed, and I was instantly logged out.
I haven't been able to log back in since.
A few days ago, push notifications stopped working for all my SMTP accounts. There are still many other bugs, and now this issue has happened as well.
I'm extremely frustrated with paying for such a service. You guys are focusing on AI features while neglecting fundamental bugs.
Second brain - personal assistant
Hey everyone, I need your advice and help.
I'm looking for a 'second brain'—a personal assistant or a memory system that never forgets and constantly updates itself. I want this to manage my projects, discussions, and ideas - and giving me proper prompts (based on the discussions what to execute/implement) or delegating the tasks directly to Codex/Claude Code. Is this possible with Hermes?
I've considered Hermes for a while but haven't had the chance to try it out due to lack of time… but lately, memory issues have been really frustrating.
Long story short, I'm currently using a dedicated Obsidian vault for all my projects(well-structured docs, AI readmes, agent - Claude mds in root, etc..), synced with GitHub, and managing everything with ChatGPT and Claude apps - using them as kind of an assistant who giving me the prompts based on what I described to them.
However, sometimes they forget details even when they're in the Obsidian vault, because they can't pinpoint the exact markdown. It's manageable if I open the file manually and specify the part, but overall, managing my projects has become a nightmare. I forget what I've done, what’s backlogged, my new ideas, future plans, roadmap—all of it. Sometimes it’s okay, sometimes not, depending on ChatGPT or Claude's mood—it's funny but it’s the truth.
So, do you think Hermes is suitable for this? If so, can it work out of the box if I connect my Obsidian and Git? Or will I need additional plugins or skills? If yes, what else would be required?
And what subscription/model is recommended for Hermes for the above mentioned tasks.
(Currently, I have Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini)
Hermes would run on a Mac Mini in my rack, separate from my MacBook.
Any advice or help is appreciated.
Can not login - HELP
My mother cannot log into her account.
While her Google account and 2FA, passkey, and Google Auth are functioning, she cannot access any Google services like Gmail, YouTube, or Photos.
After signing in with 2FA , a page prompts her to authenticate via a QR code or phone number. (why???)
Both methods fail: the phone number shows an error, and scanning the QR code leads to a window trying to send an SMS to an invalid 5-digit number—sending isn't possible.
She even tried using a mobile hotspot, different browsers, and even incognito. (instead of home wifi/network)
Interestingly, Gmail and YouTube work on her phone, but she can't log into her account on her Mac.
What steps can we take to resolve this?
Is the footrest needed?
Hey guys,
I'm asking the StepSync footrest owners: is it actually necessary?
I currently have a basic but adjustable footrest (see attached pic), and I'm unsure whether to buy the Libernovo StepSync for the Omni SE or not. (in addition, I’m not sure if I’m having enough space there...)
Just to clarify, the SE will be ordered, but hesitating whether to go for the bundle or not.
Any help or shared experiences are appreciated.
Whats happening lately?!
My plan has been unusable for the past few days. I feel like 5.5 and 5.4 are dumb af, freezing a lot and stuck in a thinking state.
And now this happened:
(5.5 high)
Now 5.4 is stuck again in the thinking state.
Same issues over CLI.

What happened to push notifications? iOS, buggy
It seems like there's a bug lately, again.
I'm getting random past push notifications from the NinjaTrader or Tradovate app. I only use these iOS apps (this or that.. tried both) to receive notifications, but for the past 2-3 weeks, they haven't been working reliably.
Both of the apps are really poor quality on iOS - pure crap, that's the honest truth.
What could be the issue?
iOS - up-to-date Tradovate/Ninjatrader app.
