Cain, Abel… you guys have been the most amazing queerplatonic partners for a whole year. Wow, I can’t believe it’s *actually* been a year already. I still recall making that first ever gush post, about the walk through an autumn colored field. It was the birth of our name, flamingsunleaves.

I initially didn’t think I could manage a poly relationship out of fear, but you guys proved me wrong. Cain, your smile, voice, mannerisms. Your kindness and patience with me, with other people. Your eyes… everything about you is incredible. I still contemplate whether we should become boyfriends, you mean a lot to me and have never given me a reason *not* to love you.

Abel, you may not enjoy humanity; you may struggle to get the right emotions out, and you may feel as if nobody actually cares for you. I do, however, and as much as you deny it, Cain does, too. You are a great warrior, proud of his skill, and sweet with animals. Your temper and murderous tendencies doesn’t keep me from loving you in the best way that I can. You can be pretty funny at times, too. I really do enjoy being around you. You have such great potential and we’re here for you.

Been on a Cain grind lately, so I wanted to draw this piece of us in the iconic meme! 🏳️‍🌈

I recently commissioned this double-sided charm of Cain and Abel as a very late birthday gift for myself (since I didn’t get anything otherwise and I had a bit of money leftover.) It turned out perfectly! My guys look so smoochable! ♥️💙🫶

So, lately, I have been posting privately about how Cain and I have gotten very close lately, to the point I have been considering possibly taking the next step with him. However, part of me is still hesistant because of the change in dynamic (and the fear of Abel being left out, because he’s aroace.)

So the question is, how do you know when a QPR starts delving into a purely romantic (or sometimes sexual) nature? We’ve been pretty intimate lately, too, more than the other two actually, because they’re ace.

Can you stay QPPs despite all of this, or do I bite the bullet and take the next step? 🤔
