Instagram says “Your email may not be secure” — how do I fix this?

Hey everyone,

I’m having an issue with my Instagram account. When I log in, Instagram shows this message:

>“Your email may not be secure”
“The email address associated with your account may be at risk. Add a different email now to secure your account.”

It’s asking me to update my email address.

The problem is that I’m not sure why Instagram is suddenly flagging my current email as potentially unsafe. I still have access to the email account, and I haven’t intentionally changed anything related to my Instagram security.

Has anyone else received this warning recently?

  • What exactly triggers this warning?
  • Is it safe to simply change the email?
  • Could this mean my Instagram account or email has been compromised?
  • Is there any way to verify what caused the warning before changing the email?

this is showing

Screenshot attached.

Would really appreciate it if someone who has dealt with this could explain what’s happening and what the safest next step is.

Thanks!

I’m turning my Mac Mini M4 into an always-on home server — what should I run on it?

I recently started using my Mac Mini M4 as an always-on home server. It stays powered on most of the time, and right now I’m running my Discord bot on it.

I’m thinking of gradually turning it into my own little home lab/server and running things like:

  • 🤖 Ollama / local LLMs
  • 🐳 Docker containers
  • 🤖 AI/automation projects
  • 🗄️ Databases
  • 🌐 Self-hosted web apps
  • 📊 Monitoring tools
  • 🔄 Background jobs / cron tasks
  • 🏠 Maybe some smart-home stuff later

The idea is to use the Mac Mini as a personal server instead of paying for cloud hosting for every small project.

For people who run an always-on Mac Mini/home server, what are you running on yours?

Also, any recommendations for security, remote access, monitoring, backups, Docker setup, or useful self-hosted services would be really helpful.

Would love to hear what you guys have built with your home servers. 🚀

I’m starting to explore Hugging Face — what should I learn first?

I’ve been working with AI tools and local models lately, and I’ve started exploring Hugging Face.

There seems to be a lot more to it than just downloading models — Transformers, datasets, Spaces, model hubs, etc.

If you use Hugging Face regularly:

What should a beginner actually learn first?

I’d especially appreciate recommendations based on real projects rather than just tutorials.

What did you wish you knew when you started?
