How do YOU level up your leftover veg soup?

I am personally partial to:

  • adding a heaping tablespoon of (vegan) Massaman curry paste into the leftovers when reheating, or
  • reducing the liquid, adding gravy powder to thicken, and serving as pie filling with mashed potato on top.

Things I wish all colouring books included...

Plus a bonus picture - one of my first completed pages.

Having devoted quite a bit of my spare time to listening to Mark Narrations read AITA posts while I colour in, I've realised two things: 1) there are a lot of people behaving like AH's in the world and 2) there are some things I wish all of my colouring books had to improve my C-QOL (colouring quality of life). Now I can't do much about point #1, but I can post about point #2 and hope that by putting this out into the world maybe one day I might be lucky enough to see some of these things appear!

What would your ideal book be like?

  • 1-2 swatch pages - I've noticed that my alcohol markers produce different colours depending on the paper. The pens came with a swatch page, but the colours I swatch on that don't match the colours that I end up with in books due to paper type (colour, GSM, etc). Having a place to swatch at the beginning of the book would solve that issue!
  • Wider margins on the left or perforations on each page to make it easier to remove pages if I want to.
  • An index - I love that Jade Summer books have an index (and challenges) and I wish this was a thing in all books!
  • A few more panel pages (like comic books), so if I am time poor, I can colour a panel and feel like I completed something, instead of having to colour half a tree and have nothing completed at the end of my session.
  • Also, unrealistically, I want this lil chimken on every page in every book:

look at his lil self
