Impossible to use travel certificates?

Impossible to use travel certificates?

I have two travel certificates that I won in an auction fundraiser thing. Two round trip certificates "from any city, to any city". But I guess that's not actually true because JetBlue barely flies anywhere apparently!

First issue, it feels like 75% of the year is a blackout date. I understand major holidays being blackout dates, but it feels like almost three quarters of the year are considered blackout dates, which is especially annoying when the certificates expire within a year. If I'm limited on travel days, finding a time to use them is already hard enough, then the added pressure of not finding a date that's also not a blackout date.

Second issue, it's ONLY valid for JetBlue run flights. You can't use it on any of the partner airlines. Normally wouldn't mind that, except JETBLUE HAS NO FLIGHTS TO ANYWHERE IT SEEMS! Every city to every city I search comes up as a United or partner airline flight, so it's not valid for the certificate. It specifically says to search using the "where we fly" page to see routes. But even those routes are partner airlines because JetBlue has no flights themselves.

I'm really just annoyed that I spent so much money (yes for a good cause, but still) on something I cannot use. None of the rules were in the auction details, and if I'd known it would be THIS complicated to try and use them, I absolutely would not have bid on them. I know other winners of the certificates in previous years, and they said it was super easy to use and they had no complications. Did the travel certificate system/process change at all in the last year? Customer service is no help whatsoever, and I'm not sure if I should just reach out to the people that ran the auction and request my money back.

Has anyone successfully used travel certificates recently? How was your experience? Am I doing something wrong in my search/etc? Please help!

*Update with some more details:
Here's the FAQ page for certificates. Travel Certificates | JetBlue The blackout dates are all listed here for 2026-2027.
I'd be flying out of Denver to literally anywhere! I have a ton of trips coming up and checked all of the locations: Baltimore/Washington DC area, Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Barcelona, Seattle. All are listed as routes on their Route Map (Route Map | JetBlue), but when searching, there are no JetBlue serviced flights, only partner airlines. I just flew JetBlue (on an actual JB serviced flight) this past weekend to Boston no problem. They absolutely have flights to/from Denver.
The site for redeeming the travel certificates is also not very intuitive and easy to navigate, so it makes it annoyingly tedious to search for flights. I've started using the main JetBlue site to search for flights that exist, then searching for that exact flight in the travel certificate redemption place.

My husband hates this show

Context: I love the show! A friend recommended it to me because I like puzzles and treasure hunts and the like. She was surprised I'd never heard of Oak Island, and told me about it and the show. I started watching it about a month ago.

I'm only on season 4 (NO SPOILERS PLEASE!). I'm really enjoying it. I think it's a fun story and the mystery of it is exciting and the anticipation is great.

But my husband absolutely hates it with a passion. His main gripe is always something like "well we know they don't find it this episode because there's still 10 more seasons" etc. Which I understand, but I am very much in the mindset of "there's joy and excitement in the journey". The cliffhangers and anticipation in each episode is obviously a tactic to bring you back to keep watching, but I genuinely enjoy it.

So I guess my question is: without spoilers or giving away anything crazy, can I tell him they actually find something significant at all? I know I could look it up, and obviously I'm way behind so there's more years of their search I haven't seen yet. But I'm afraid of seeing a spoiler and it ruining the fun. He also doesn't care enough to look it up himself. Basically, what can I say to him so he'll stop being a negative butt about the show? 😄
