With recent whitewashes, here are a few things I felt:
No role clarity among the players
Situation awareness
Too many continuous changes
Uncertainty of the plan
The batting order is not stable.
Too many left-handers in the batting lineup.
The squad:
Abhishek Sharma - Go all in from ball 1. Play his natural style.
Sanju Samson (wk) - Best in Wicketkeeping skills. On his day, he can win you any matches. Needs to stay longer on the crease. Needs to stay consistent.
I Kishan
S Iyer (c)
Rajat Patidar - Can play spin very well. Very much aware of the situation. Can accelerate when needed.
Hardik Pandya - Has the strength to go from ball 1. Can give you a sure-shot 4 overs. Needs to improve on fitness
V Iyer - Floater (batting allrounder) - based on match situation, can bat any part of the innings. Also, can give 2-3 overs of bowling.
Axar Patel - Can bat if needed, thus strengthens the lower order. Can give you a few tight overs. Good Fielder
Kuldeep Yadav - Can give a few tight overs in the middle of the innings. Needs to improve in fielding.
Bhuvi - One of the best bowling minds in the game. Highly experienced and can give early breakthroughs as well as can give you tight overs at the end with Bumrah.
Bumrah - Bumrah.
Why not included:
Why this team will do better.
Role Clarity for everyone.
Players picked can accelerate or anchor the innings smoothly.
The bowling lineup is experienced.
Depth in the batting lineup with more specialised batters.
The team is mostly based on the IPL. Sorry if any spelling errors.
What's your take?
The metro plan looks so naive to me.... If I need to change a metro I need to go to civil court.... Supposedly if one need to go from nashik phata to baner.... I need to come to civil court first and go back to baner. This adds up almost 30-45 minutes extra travel time then going by road!
Similarly to go from PCMC to kalyani Nagar.
More intersections or ring rail (delhi) might solve this problem.
