Discrepancy between Dexcom G7 and Contour Blood Glucose Test readings

I am writing to note a recent variance between my Dexcom G7 Continuous Glucose Monitor (CGM) and my Contour blood glucose meter.

Earlier today, my Dexcom G7 app indicated a reading of 240 mg/dL. Because this felt high, I immediately performed a finger-stick test using my Contour meter, which read 190 mg/dL. To ensure accuracy, I retested immediately with the Contour meter, and it confirmed a second reading of 190 mg/dL.

There is a consistent 50 mg/dL variance between the interstitial fluid reading (CGM) and the capillary blood reading (finger-stick). Given this gap, I wanted to confirm which reading I should rely on for my current treatment decisions. Anyone have answers to fix this issue? Or any suggestions?

Fitbit Air Steps auto increasing while in the Car drive

I have drove the car for 30 minutes straight by keeping my hands right at the window. I didn’t even move the hands but somehow I see Fitbit Air is still rising my steps count even though there is no shake in my hands. I was wondering what is causing this issue? Does Fitbit Air not well built?
