First time getting kicked out from a case

I’m a RBT and I got removed from a case because I’m not interacting w kiddo as much? Idk how that came to be because I talk w him a lot and we do all the board games they have available. Ig they mean that I’m not physically active with him, we do movement brain breaks and that’s it. I was communicated through email that they want me to exercise with him and next day I got kicked out from the case I didn’t even see him yet. Either way I think it’s for the best because I suffer from chronic back pain from my scoliosis and doing exercises will be really painful.

Help with motivation

I need help, I don’t like my job anymore, I could even say I hate it. I work at home and it’s isolating, I have no friends or coworkers. I only work with kids all day, everyday. I’m going to quit as soon as I find another job but I haven’t found anything yet. I can’t deal with this job anymore, it’s taking a toll on my mental health. What can I think or do, to hold on until I find a different job?

Hating my job again

I stopped my meds to lose weight and as soon as I do I started hating my job. I started meds a few months before I started this job and this is the longest I've been in one job (one year). But now I'm miserable, and I hate going in, I thought I loved this job but it's the thing I hate the most right now. Before I stopped my meds I was training to become a CMA and I finish soon but I don't know if I can make it in this job for another three more months, I don't know what to do. I was also thinking of taking a week off, but I'm traveling next month for a week... it's not like I'm staying in this job so it doesn't matter after all, but I like to think I'm responsible, but it's still taking a toll in my mental health.

What are the specific things you do as a Behavioral Health Technician?

I'm looking to work at a psychiatric hospital soon and at first I wanted to be a Mental Health Technician but people have said it's like being an underpaid CNA and it focuses on hygiene. I'm pre-med so I want to start doing clinical work and I'm finishing my CMA program soon as well. I'm wondering what is being a BHT like? For example, do you lead group activities, take vitals, provide medications... please be specific.

In-home RBT job is tiring

Hey guys, I’m thinking of quitting after two years of being an in-home RBT. It has taken a toll on my mental health. I only see kids everyday I have no friendships, I only see one coworker (my BCBA) once a month and it’s very lonely. I can only do in-home because it’s flexible with my classes. I haven’t been able to make friends in college and I wanted to try to make friends at work so I’m thinking of quitting. Even though I enjoy working with these kids, I’m too lonely.
