What car(s) did your parents have when you were a kid?
First car: 2007 Kia Optima LX (looked exactly like this but with a spoiler)
Original MSRP in 2007: $22k
Owned from 2007 (year before I was born) until 2020 when they traded it in for $1600 at 117k miles. No issues aside from A/C needing a recharge. Cosmetically looked brand new inside and out aside from some paint peel on the door handles and some scratches on the rear bumper that happened in like 2009 and never got fixed.
Second Car: 2014 Nissan Murano SL (same spec, but had a black interior)

Price in 2017: $24,900
Owned from 2017 until 2023. Had roughly 39k miles when we bought it and had almost 90k when we sold it six years later for $7800. Only real issue was that about a month prior, the front struts had worn out, and the shop we took it to (Pep Boys iirc) somehow fucked up the installation process, so the car no longer drove as smoothly as it once had. A glass panel in front of the sunroof had also shattered during a hailstorm in 2018, but it was cosmetically sound aside from that.
Forgot to mention that their very first cars were a 2001 Ford Taurus SES (sold a few months after I was born in 2008) and a 1991 Honda Prelude (gone long before I was born).
