The toxicity in this sub is insane

This sub is supposed to be a friendly group of people that can help each other, yet when we try to do that we get hated on.

Worth grading?

I'm a total beginner and pulled these yesterday, I looked online and the graded prices are pretty good. Would it be good to get them graded even if I don't plan on selling them?

Overpriced pet stores

Exact same thing sold at pet stores and random warehouses, the price difference is insane. Obviously I bought the cheap one🙏

Sand or gravel?

I prefer the look of sand but I feel like gravel would be easier to keep clean.. is that true? I'm guessing u can't clean sand with a gravel cleaner lol.

How to prevent UTIs???

I've had 2 UTIs in the past 3 weeks and I'm not sure why. I pee after sex, wipe front to back, keep it clean, take cranberry supplements and they still keep recurring. Please give me any tips.

This is how all pet stores should keep Bettas.

I find it crazy that other pet stores keep their bettas in such poor environment (LITERAL CUPS) When my pet store has them in beautiful tanks. The only downside to this is that they only have a couple bettas in store, but I love that they're treated well here.

Id love to see photos of your local pet stores in the comments!!

Fish tanks r so expensive 😭

I keep looking at aquarium posts for tank inspo and the videos always say u can get tanks for around 10-40 bucks. I live in newzelaand and the every single tank above 5 gallons is over $200😞 Even 2nd hand on Facebook marketplace are $150+.

Can any newzealand or australian fish owners let me know where u can get cheaper tanks from?!??!?

Would a 23L tank be okay??

I've been wanting a betta for years now and I'm finally thinking about getting one. I have minimal space to work with and I'd only be able to fit a 23L (6-7 gallon) tank, would this be okay for a betta??
