When I bought my nav 470, the only options without doing a full nav-non nav conversion were the phoenix tesla-style head units which I hated the look of or the GROM vline unit. I ended up going with the GROM, which worked fine until a few months ago, when it started randomly not showing up when I started the car. Their support has been responsive but doesn't seem to be able to figure out the problem. Anyway, I just found this new style of head unit on AliExpress that seems to just replace the nav screen. Seems appealing.
Has anyone tried this? Does it work well?

Hello, I am new in the process of applying via descent, and I'm trying to figure out which documents I actually need, as some will be hard to get.

My application line is GGGF (and/or GGGM) -> GGF -> GM -> M -> Me.

Basically, my question is: Is it necessary to have birth records for all family members, or just those in the direct line of descent? My grandfather's birth record is not going to be easy to get, but I can definitely get the marriage record between him and my grandmother.
