Went to do my first oil change today and could not get the oil housing off for the life of me. I was using a little cheater bar and my wrench kept slipping. I kept my hand on the wrench tool to make sure it was seated properly. Ended up getting it loose and now I’m thinking I can’t get it fully tighten. I ordered a new housing and tool should be here in a week. (Please hurry) Plus somebody used channel locks on the oil cap and had it cranked down I needed a wrench to loosen it… COME ONNN.

Pushed it about 3 ft into the pathfinder in front of it. Alignment is definitely off, drives squirrelly. Tcs lights are on.

Already called police and insurance. But its sunday and I'd like a ballpark. 06 gx470

Picked up my 2013 GX460 about 2 months. ago. Added wheels, tires, tow hitch and roof-rack so far.

Very excited to see what this thing can do. Picked it up a few days ago off FB marketplace and I love it so far. 200k miles but she's is good condition hopefully she lasts a long time.

Found out the hard away about these eccentric sleeves for alignment being frozen in the original control arm. Only 1 was frozen. Cut it out awaiting replacement in the mail. Other than that all ball joints were pretty easy to move by hand. Ran JBA uppers and freedom lowers. Ready to see how it drives after alignment getting caster and camber within spec again.

I got a leak, I’m pretty sure it’s oil. Do yall think this is a gasket? anyone dealt with this before? I’m pretty shitty with cars but trying to learn

I picked up an 070 blizzard pearl 470 recently. The roof paint had failed and was rusting. I sanded off the rust, used self etching primer on the bare steel, regular primer over that. I used an industrial enamel between the sunroof and the rear of the vehicle, but vinyl wrap above the windshield since that’s visible from the ground. Pretty pleased with the results.
