Smh...

Can't make this up.... 🤦‍♂️

https://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/vinfast-begins-sales-of-the-2027-vf-8-in-the-us-market-featuring-enhanced-safety-and-advanced-driver-assistance-technologies-302881916.html

Automatic Emergency Stop Assist (AESA): Designed to safely decelerate and stop the vehicle within its lane if the driver becomes unresponsive. Upon stopping, the system automatically activates hazard lights, applies the Electronic Parking Brake (EPB), unlocks the doors, and triggers an eCall for immediate assistance.

Can't wait to read about this happening on a major highway with vehicles around it doing 80+ mph, sounds like perfect situation for a major lawsuit!

Just how bad shape they are in , in the USA

Doing a simple search under - https://vinfastauto.us/find-us - They list 24 dealerships outside of California! Out of those 24, These 12 , yes I said 50% off the locations listed on vinfasts own website currently show , either permanently closed, service centers only that were once dealerships, or locations that never opened or without a single vinfast available for sale!

So you seriously have to ask yourself as a customer, How comfortable can you honestly feel knowing a company is in that bad a shape, they leave perm closed (or about to close) locations on thier page just to make things look better!

Day 15..

Here is yet another update, I even have the collision manager for vinfast, based in California (Jesse) involved - Im on day 15 and we have not made any progress as of yet - Here is the response I received today from my insurance company (Which is also the lady that hit my wifes vf8 insurance company) -

Please take note, if you should get into an accident, thats not even your fault!!

Please know that we are actively working on your claim and doing everything we can to move the process forward as quickly as possible. Unfortunately, there is very limited repair and parts support for VinFast vehicles in Florida, which has made obtaining the information needed to determine whether the vehicle will be repaired or declared a total loss more challenging than we would typically expect.

At this time, we have not received any new updates to share, but as soon as we do, we will reach out to you immediately. I can assure you that your claim has not been forgotten, and we are continuing to follow up with all parties involved to obtain the information necessary to make a decision.

We appreciate your patience and understanding, and we'll keep you informed as soon as there is any progress.

Let this be fair notice to all vinfast owners in the states....

My wife was involved in a car accident last week in her 2024 vf8 plus, where a young women ran a red-light light, car was towed to a salvage yard, then towed to a body shop , the body shop would not even look.at it, till the dealership could guarantee it was drivable, it was then towed to the dealership here in tampa florida area, where they do not have a body shop nor will they even look at it because it was involved in an accident, liability concerns, now the car is being towed back to the same salvage yard, the service manager at the body shop.had already informed me, it will take 6-9 months to get parts from vinfast directly in Vietnam.

Unfortunately, I still have my other vf8 plus for 12 more months, I really cant wait to get away from this company!

Less then 48 hours since my wifes accident..the other women's insurance declared it totaled based on it taking 6+ months to obtain all the parts needed, the car rental in the time period would surpass $10k alone. Its already on an auction site!
