anxiety about infections
im 6 days post op, i had double jaw surgery and 2 lower wisdom teeth removal. recovery is great so far, the swelling has decreased a lot. except on the left side of my face (around the area of where my wisdom teeth was removed, i assume thats normal.) and on my neck i have a bit of bruising. the other half of my face is almost completely fine, it does have a bit of swelling, but not much less than the other, it honestly looks symmetrical. the issue is.. i have an ache on the left side of my face (mainly around the area of my wisdom teeth) that even goes up to my ear a bit (although its not painful at all and i can deal with it), i have horrible breath and my temperature is fluctuating between 37°C and 38°C. yesterday it even went up to ~38,5°C, but i took meds and it dropped by a lot. i used to hear cracking sounds on the left side when i open and close my mouth.
should i be worried? at first i assumed some food got stuck, but maybe it could be something else too.
also about hygiene, i do brush my front teeth (although its pretty hard to get to the back of my teeth, i still try to) and i use my medication to wash my mouth. i do this around twice a day.
