Has anyone else struggled to connect with therapy because it felt too passive?
I tried therapy twice, but I never really connected with it. I realized I probably need a therapist who is more interactive — someone who asks deeper questions, helps me understand patterns, challenges my thinking a little, and really guides the conversation instead of mostly just listening.
I know a lot of people benefit from therapy, so I’m wondering if maybe I just haven’t found the right approach or type of therapist yet.
Did anyone else feel this way before therapy finally “clicked” for them?
