Old workhorse used for DIY paraffin sectioning (plant tissue). Has disposable blade option.

I keep all this in the black bag (which fits easily next to the reverb unit in the back of my amp for travel). Covers most situations at home and informal gigs. Bottom left is a 1/2” socket used to keep those pesky jack nuts snug.

Started seeing wood chips all over the base of a tree trunk by the house (in NorCal) that was top-cut last year. Looked up and saw the hole. Installed 'birdcam' and confirmed a possible Downy Woodpecker (Dryobates pubescens) has built its home there!
