After much deliberation. Triggering, reliability and build quality made me choose Roland 516 over efnote 5. Extremely satisfied so far. This is a tank of a machine and built to last decades.
Posting this here as a 1 top up 2 Toms down is definitely achievable for those wondering. The rack bars need to be raised so the tom doesn't hit the down tubes/legs. Not cramped. Worked damn well.
Rebuilt a 40L nano tank. CO2 bakingsoda/citric acid 1L pressure cylinder DIY job. 2 weeks in with established plants. Endlers/Embers/Rasboras. Aquasoil with sand capping. Devils in the back sapping excess nutrients. CO2 and light timer on for 8hrs a day. Leafzone once a week and 20% water change. Not a hint of algae....yet
Job looks good. Boys did it quick in 3 days. They've left a decent amount of sand on the surface and a lot of rough edged cuts. Is this normal or lack of new diamond blade? Should I expect these to be perfectly cut?
