In this thread, you can report any bugs that persist in the application. The goal is to report as many bugs as possible and to help each other if anyone has a solution.
TL;DR: Fitbit Air hardware is excellent, but Google Health app is a disappointment. It's not truly device agnostic, the AI Coach hallucinates data, food logging has regressed, and there's no blood pressure tracking. Fine for casual use if you're not a data nerd, but Whoop remains the gold standard for serious users and the Helio Strap or Polar Loop are better mid-range options. For me it's just about good enough, mainly because I prefer the Air's form factor.

I've been using the new app for a couple of days now (since my Fitbit Air arrived and I could use the app properly) and parts of it are slowly starting to grow on me.
I had been a Fitbit user for years but just didn't want to be wearing a screen all the time (I have plenty of screens in my life; another on my wrist was just unnecessary) so a couple of years ago I bit the bullet and went to Whoop.
I've had Whoop, Amazfit Helio Strap, and now I'm back with Fitbit and the Air.
Hardware wise, I think the Air is excellent. And I love its more discreet form factor than other screen-less devices on the market.
But the Google Health app still has some way to go versus the competitors.
Google positioned the new Health app as device agnostic, but it isn't really. I get Fitbit/Google Health Premium as part of my Google AI One subscription, which I'm currently also getting free as a bundle with my Pixel 10. But even though I've got Premium, before the Air arrived I had no access to the Health Coach, and data ingested from third party devices like Amazfit was minimal. Enough for the app to say "you did a run today, well done." "You slept last night, well done". And frustratingly, users who were on the preview but didn't have a Fitbit device had access to the Health Coach and lost it when the public release came out.
That isn't "device agnostic". When other apps like Sonar or even proprietary apps can pull in more data, Google has missed a trick here. It doesn't even pull in GPS/map data from my runs.
Now the Air is connected to it, there's more data available to me (from the Air; third party data is still rubbish) and the Health Coach is now available. And it still feels a bit Fisher Price in its approach.
Sleep, steps, and heart rate measurements all seem very accurate, which is great, but understanding it in the app isn't as easy as it should be. It's heavily reliant on the AI Coach, which wants to be your best friend, never forgets the pint you had on Wednesday night, and is prone to making stuff up: Yesterday it praised me on my excellent sleep score of 82 and when I pointed out the actual sleep score was 74 it told me well done for catching it out, and then made up some other nonsense about the sleep. And after a run logged with my Active 2, it initially correctly logged the 8.25k distance, but then conflated it with the automatically tracked steps of the Fitbit Air and said I'd run just shy of 10km; when I corrected it, I got a Frankenstein version of both sets of numbers. Thank God Strava kept the hard data from Amazfit.
Fitbit staples like food logging and calorie burn Vs consumption aren't there properly any more (if you have saved regular foods from your old Fitbit you can still find them); instead you need to enter the details manually into the Health Coach and even then it will come back with estimates; and there's no way of saving regular foods.
And, for a Health app, it's not able to log or pull in blood pressure data - surely a basic staple of any health app tracking.
For a product that's supposed to be the amalgamation of the best of Google Fit and Fitbit, it instead feels like they released a beta version of the product and ignored user feedback from the preview release.
Now, I am a casual user. While I run and cycle and swim, I do only really want a guide of how I'm doing. I don't dig into the data in detail, so I'm actually finding most of Google Health okay for my daily use. I wish it was more configurable, I wish it had blood pressure tracking, and one of my favourite features of Whoop was the journal - you can sort of do this with the Health Coach but it does get a bit judgy, and if you mention anything about having sex it gets very prudish and tells you it can't log that.
So if you're considering using Google Health as your wellness app but are serious about digging into the data, it's not the app for you right now. For me, it's okay, but mostly because I do like the Fitbit Air size over the competitors.
If you like your data but don't have a champagne budget, the Helio Strap, Polar Loop are probably more for you (or wait for Garmin's release).
If you're serious, and can afford it, go Whoop.
Now, what I have to do is decide whether it's worth swapping my Amazfit Active 2 for a Fitbit Sense 2 for logging my runs.
My fitbit seems to think I'm an athlete on the bike. Now its true I did ride a bike back from work. Only problem, it was a MOTORCYCLE. Does anyone know how to make the app disregard this?
Beyond the game, some places capture the true essence of what Padel represents: a blend of social energy and architectural elegance.
I stumbled upon Caramel Padel (@caramelpadelclub), and it is a masterclass in atmosphere. The way the lighting interacts with the structure and the overall vibe makes it more than just a venue—it’s a destination. 🏗️📐
It’s exactly the kind of refined, aesthetic court culture we want to celebrate here on r/PurePadel.
What makes a club "aesthetic" for you? Is it the lighting, the color palette, or the social design of the space? Let's discuss. 🥂

Bonjour à tous,
J'ai un duster qui date un peu (2016). Il n'a donc pas de carplay. Je souhaitais savoir quelle option s'offrait a moi pour installer un module carplay ?
Merci par avance.
