i want to relapse so badly
I haven’t yet. I am so depressed. I’m bipolar and I’m trying my 13th medication because nothing works. I can’t find a job even though I have a bachelors and masters degree from a prestigious university. I can’t find a job and My parents want me to move elsewhere for one otherwise they’ll cut me off and I don’t want to move, I know I’ll be miserable there. I can’t do this anymore I’m so exhausted and my life just keeps getting worse. I want to hurt myself so badly even though I’ve been clean for 5 years. I am so close to doing it and I don’t know know I just wanted to vent.
“I find women hot but wouldn’t date one”
I hate when people say this so so much. Do they not realize how objectifying it is? Why are women just for sex but men are for dating and marriage? It’s just misogyny but make it woke. I’ve heard this many times from women. Honorable mention “im into women but it’s too much work to date them.” Thank u for reminding me that im the hard option. Ugh. That’s all im just irritated and wanted to share bc i know a lot of other ppl here feel the same way
I regret going into public health
I got my bachelors (2024) and master (2025) in public health and I regret it. I loved studying it and my program so much but i haven’t been able to find a job at all. I was a social worker briefly because I couldn’t find anything else but I didn’t have any training in it so that didn’t go well. The fellowships and programs I applied to last year disappeared or were cancelled because of funding. I’ve applied to hundreds of jobs but I can’t get anything because I don’t have any experience. I wish I had gone into the workforce right after undergrad instead of getting my MPH or that I studied something different all together. I hope this doesn’t break any rules idk I just wanted to vent and see if anyone else relates
EDIT: you guys are all so sweet and supportive thank you for your comments!! I’ve started looking into the organizations in the comments. I love public health so much but I’ve become disillusioned by the job market. And thank you for reminding me that this is temporary it’s making me feel a bit better
