Pura Max 2 Air Purifier Batteries

What batteries are you guys using for your air purifier and how long do they last? It seems like no matter which batteries I used they always die within 1-1.5 weeks. I’m a 1 cat household so it’s not like it’s running constantly.

Rent Stabilized Lease Ending (Extra Month)

I have a rent stabilized unit and my lease is ending at the end of this month and the management company hasn't provided me with a renewal. There was a change in management companies so I don't think they even know that my lease is ending. I've chosen to accept a housing lottery apartment but the lease for that doesn't start until July 15th so I was hoping to stay an additional month to allow myself time to move out and clean up. Should I ask the management company for a renewal and just not sign it? Any scenario in which I can stay an additional month?

Won Lottery for Midtown Studio (Downsizing)

Hi All,

So I wont the lottery for a studio in midtown in a luxury building. 70% AMI and $1800 rent. My current rent is around $1550 for a studio in an older building in bedstuy. If this were an apples to apples comparison I would move in a heartbeat but the midtown studio is significantly smaller than my studio in brooklyn. Not crazy small but it seems like the apartment only has a tiny closet and not much else in terms of general storage space outside of the kitchen. My question is what is everyone doing in terms of storage in these apartments? My SO thinks of this move as a downgrade because of the loss in additional storage space but I see it as an upgrade because of the additional amenities that are being offered such as a gym, courtyard, business center, rooftop as well as it's central location and cheap rent relative to the area. Has anyone made a similar move and found an improved quality of life due the additional amenities, quality of the building and amenities?
