Extended TT and BL

I have had two consultations for a tummy tuck (mainly for my C-section shelf) and breast lift. One surgeon recommended a regular tummy tuck, whereas the other one recommended an extended tummy tuck. The recommendation for an extended tummy kind of surprise me because I don’t feel like I have that much, but he said if I didn’t do an extended one I would end up with “dog ears” on both sides. He showed me what it meant, and honestly, it made sense, but just wondering if anybody else with a tummy similar to mine has any personal experience.

Also, I’m torn on whether to do both procedures at the same time. There is no financial advantage to having them done at the same time. In other words, I’m not getting a discount or anything if I have them done at the same time. My main concern is the recovery. Obviously, if I separate them, I’m going to be going through some sort of recovery twice. But I also can’t afford to be down for more than about 7 to 10 days. I’m self-employed (lawyer so no one else can do my job) and can really only take 7 to 10 days off. However, I work mostly remote so I’m just sitting at my desk or I can even bring my laptop and prop myself up.

Tummy tuck will include MR, flank lipo, and I’m also adding inner thigh lipo, and bra line lipo of the back. Will definitely have drains.

When I get the BL, I will also be getting a little lipo on the outside of my breast.

Mommy makeover

I had a consultation for a mommy makeover a couple weeks ago. Tummy tuck (regular) with muscle repair, lipo 360, and breast lift. Surgeon expects the surgery will take about seven hours and she will have a PA in there with her. Said she would not do a surgery that long otherwise. She is accredited and is using an accredited surgery center. That said, I’m a little bit nervous about a seven hour surgery. Is this the norm? I’m seriously considering splitting it into two procedures where I would have the tummy tuck with muscle repair and Lipo 360 performed as part of one surgery and the breast lift as part of a second surgery.

Is this a god price?

Obviously it’s not just about cost - surgeon skill is most important. That said, just wondering if this is average or typical. Location: central FL.

Breast lift
TT with muscle repair (not extended)
360 lipo
Lipo inner thighs

$28k total including surgeon, facility, and anesthesia

Mini tummy tuck? Lipo?

I had three c sections in a less than 3.5 years and hate my C-section shelf.

I’ve also gained weight due to life and perimenopause. I’ve lost 12-15 lbs in the past 2 months or so but obviously have a ways to go.

So I have two questions:

Do you think I’m a candidate for a mini tummy tuck? I feel like my upper abdomen is overall fine.

Should I wait to lose more weight before lipo? I would want lipo of flanks and thighs primarily, maybe hips. Will I need lipo of my lower abdomen too along with the tummy tuck?

5’2” and 165 lbs in this pic.

I have a consult this week but just trying to set expectations.
