I sharpened the pencil on the left with my trusted Mitsubishi KH-20. The pencil on the right came from a hotel and was already sharpened.

I actually like the hotel pencil’s point much better. It’s a little blunter, so it feels less scratchy, but it’s still perfect for writing. The point also protrudes a bit more, which seems to help the point stay usable for a long time.
I’m guessing it was sharpened with some kind of commercial sharpener during manufacturing, but I’d love to recreate the same point on my pencils at home.

Any ideas for a sharpener I could try?
