Biggest gaming week in years and it genuinely feels like the industry is alive again. This is probably the closest vibe we’ve had to the old E3 era.

• June 2 — Rumored longest State of Play yet, with talks about games like Hogwarts Legacy 2, an Infamous remake, and Wolverine showing up.

• June 5 — Summer Game Fest, where a lot of the biggest reveals usually happen.

• June 7 — Xbox Showcase under the new leadership. Xbox has been making some huge moves lately, so this event could end up being a major one.

Honestly, dropping GTA VI Trailer 3 somewhere between these events would completely dominate the internet.

Xbox just dropped the second wave of Game Pass games for May 2026, and it’s honestly stacked. The biggest highlight is definitely Remnant II making a return to Game Pass on May 20 — perfect for anyone who missed it the first time. Alongside that, players are also getting titles like Forza Horizon 6, Final Fantasy VI, and Jurassic World Evolution 3 over the next couple of weeks.

Overall though, this might be one of the strongest Game Pass waves in a while, especially with Remnant II returning and Forza Horizon 6 launching straight into the service.

The wait for GTA 6 is finally starting to feel real. Italian retailer Showgame has officially opened pre-orders for both the PS5 and Xbox Series X versions of the game, becoming one of the first retailers to do so.

What’s surprising everyone is the pricing — GTA 6 is listed at €69.90, which is actually cheaper than many modern AAA console games that now launch at around €79.99. Fans and analysts were expecting Rockstar and Take-Two to push prices even higher due to the game’s massive scale and hype, but that doesn’t seem to be the case so far.

While GTA 6 still isn’t available for pre-order on digital stores like the PlayStation Store yet, this strongly suggests that wider regional rollouts could begin very soon. If Europe is getting access now, your region might be next.

The retailer currently lists November 19, 2026 as the release date — the same launch window Take-Two’s CEO recently reconfirmed — meaning Rockstar appears confident that another delay won’t happen.

GTA 6 marks the first mainline entry in the franchise since GTA 5 launched back in 2013. The game returns players to Vice City, Rockstar’s fictional version of Miami, while also expanding into surrounding areas and landscapes. Nintendo finally decides to take India seriously, and what do they do?

They bring the Switch 1 in 2026… a console that’s already at the end of its life cycle globally.

That’s the frustrating part. India gets treated like a clearance market instead of an actual growing gaming audience. While other regions are moving toward newer hardware, Indian players are expected to buy outdated tech at premium prices and be grateful for it.

Then Nintendo wonders why so many people here emulate or pirate their games.

Sony built PlayStation into a massive brand worldwide because they actually invested in markets early, pushed proper distribution, localized pricing, marketing, support, and made gamers feel included. Nintendo barely acknowledges India exists until years later.

India has one of the biggest young tech populations in the world, and instead of launching current-gen hardware properly, Nintendo shows up late with old products. That’s not “expanding into a market,” that’s dumping leftover hardware into one.

If Nintendo truly wants to grow in India, start treating Indian gamers like current-gen customers — not a clearance sale destination.

Sony has officially revealed the May 2026 catalogue for PlayStation Plus, with all games becoming available on May 19, 2026.

The lineup features major titles including Red Dead Redemption 2, Star Wars Outlaws, Bramble: The Mountain King, The Thaumaturge, Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn, Broken Sword – Shadows of the Templar: Reforged, and Enotria: The Last Song.

Most of these titles will be available to PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium subscribers, while Time Crisis will be exclusive to Premium members only. Games released on both PS4 and PS5 will support both platforms.

The May catalogue is being seen as one of the stronger recent additions to the service, especially with the inclusion of major open-world titles like Red Dead Redemption 2 and Star Wars Outlaws.
