Best way to get from Leonardo Hotel Düsseldorf Airport (Ratingen) to the SOAD concert?
Hey everyone!
My wife and I are coming to Düsseldorf next week for the System of a Down concert. 🤘 We’ll be staying at the Leonardo Hotel Düsseldorf Airport in Ratingen.
We’re having a bit of a debate:
My wife wants to bring our own bicycles.
I think that’s unnecessary and that Düsseldorf probably has plenty of rental bikes, e-scooters, or good public transport available.
For people who know the city (or have been to concerts at this venue):
What’s the easiest way to get from the hotel to the venue and back after the show?
Are shared bikes or e-scooters easy to find around Ratingen and after the concert?
Is public transport the better option?
Would you actually recommend bringing our own bikes, or is that more hassle than it’s worth?
Any tips for getting back after the concert (crowds, waiting times, availability of scooters/bikes, etc.) are also very welcome.
