Just finished Pokemon Heart and Soul today and honestly, it's one of the best Johto ROM Hacks I've played in a while. Haven't played much ROM hacks since I got busy but I'm glad I picked up H&S to start off getting back to the scene.

So, here's the team I finished the game with on my first clear. Pichu, Typhlosion, and Leafeon were the ones I was dead set on making sure I finish the game with. Togekiss was the MVP in my Lance fight.

I just finished a Singles match with someone named Trainer at Ultra Ball tier 4.

They ran a Sneasler, Mega Sableye and Archaludon against my Baton Pass Espathra, Vaporeon and Venusaur team. We were locked in a stall battle the whole time. Their Mega Sableye kept on running Calm Mind, Recover and Foul Play, meanwhile my Mega Venusaur (Calm Mind and speed boosted through Espathra's Baton Pass) ran the typical Giga Drain, Sludge Bomb, Earth Power, and Synthesis. Majority of the battle just us running through each other with their Calm Mind + Recover and Giga Drain + Synthesis. I was already Will-o-wisp'd by their Sableye.

Ultimately, I won the stall battle since I guess they ran out of PP for Recover, Calm Mind can't boost Mega Sableye anymore and I tried to minimize my use of recovery moves and ran some offense through Earth Power and Sludge Bomb (despite it not being very effective). I forgot to record due to the absurdity of the situation, I was just laughing at it the whole time. This result screen is the only remnant of the battle I had with them 😭 It ended with a draw as time ran out on my Vaporeon and their Archaludon. If this Trainer is real, man, props to you for having a great stall battle LOL
