Who is Larry Jeffus?

Marking NSFW in case he was just a real wild party animal, or what have you. I’m in beginner welding at the Community College of Philadelphia, and my text book, Ninth Edition Welding is by someone named Larry Jaffus, which sounds like someone was making up a name and quit part way.

This seems like a pretty large and knowledgeable community. Has anyone met Mr(Dr?) Jaffus? Worked along side him? Lost a wife or daughter to his charm? Is he more the Mick Jagger of welding, or like the Axl Rose?

Any contextualization that you all can give me would really help me out. Welding 6010 may be driving me to distraction…

EBT fraud in Cobbs Creek

I am so fucking steamed. I went to the food stamp office yesterday cause I got authorized through next year, but ain’t get any reup after the initial payment. And I’d been checking my balance like every day. I was fucking hungry already.

They tell me that I got scammed. In so short of a window that I never even saw a balance, fraudulent charges in like an hour took my whole $298 to eat through mid June.

I’m in welding school right by Aldis, so I’ve shopped there, gotten shit on Amazon, and literally like 4 papi stores within a couple block walk of me. Thinking that there is a skimmer on one of those fucking swipers is going to have me pissed off and hungry.
