My Luke Skywalker budget cosplay

My Luke Skywalker budget cosplay

Built this outfit entirely from thrifted/repurposed clothing, including an old graduation gown, priest's costume shirt, and even genuine vintage riding boots I found for 20 dollars at Goodwill. It may not be 501st approved but it's far more screen accurate than I would have ever hoped. I hope you guys can appreciate the vision.

My Luke Skywalker budget cosplay (new and improved)

I've been working on this costume for a long time, and some of you have even seen some of the progress. I finally found an accurate collar using a priest's costume that I turned into a tank top that goes underneath the main outfit. The tabards of the tunic are the remnants of an old graduation gown, and the boots are genuine riding boots by Carhartt. Normally $300, I found them at Goodwill for 20. Other details include a leather waist belt, my saber hook is an old suspender hook, and the utility pouch on the belt is an old coin purse that I bought from Walmart for 10 bucks. It would never be 501st approved but I am immensely proud. I debuted the outfit at Tucson Comic-Con this past weekend and received a surprising amount of praise. I hope you guys can enjoy it too.

Drew an FW-190 for the first time in years

Small drawing on a paper about 5 inches wide and I was going off memory so go easy on me if I've made any mistakes

My contribution to this sub

Side note: actually met Noel G at comic-con, he's super chill

Budget Jedi outfit

Using the same old graduation gown that I use for Luke, I created a second outfit for my Jedi OC, Jasper Starflight

Improving my Budget Luke cosplay with an improvised tunic

The "tunic" is an old graduation gown that I cut the sleeves and bottom off of, leaving it unzipped above the waist belt makes it look like the tabards of a classic Jedi tunic
