New member. Can I go to other clubs while my location is under construction?

Hi All, Newbie here. I came from Equinox to save some money every month on my gym fees. I went to a few clubs in Manhattan and I felt like it was just as great as my other gym so I joined the Inwood location to lock-in a promo rate before it opens... Now I want to go to the gym, but wondering if I can go to any other locations because mine hasn't opened yet. I already emailed them about this but hoping to get some member insights.

My agreement says PEAK memberships allow access to other “designated” franchised Crunch clubs, but my membership start date is listed as TBD.

Has anyone joined a Crunch location before its grand opening? Were you able to use other Crunch gyms in the meantime, or did you have to wait until your home location opened? I’d especially love to hear from anyone with experience with NYC Crunch locations.

Riverdale, The Bronx now has bikes!

Hello, been a resident of NYC 16+yrs, now in North Riverdale for 2+ yrs, and we finally got CitiBike up here. It’s great for going to the train and back. Yesterday I went to my gym on 231st and realized Broadway is not yet ready for bikes. There are cars double parked, busses use normal lanes as bus stops, pot holes all over the road, and no bike lane. Last week I was driving thru Astoria and I saw how amazing their new road looks under their elevated train with bike lanes and parking spots, and single lane of car traffic. I wonder how long it’ll take the city to fix Broadway in Kingsbridge and Riverdale. It’s long overdue!!
