Hello, I have completed the Discovery Program for Brooklyn Tech yesterday. I finished with a 96 in math and an 88 in ela, and had no behavioral issues or absences. They said that they'd give an email within two days if you got in or not - so I may receive my email on Saturday, August 8th. I am incredibly anxious.
I've gotten emails about Brooklyn Tech from Mary Huhn even before the discovery program and while I was in it. I was very confused because I haven't even gotten accepted into Brooklyn Tech. I checked with my other two friends who go to the discovery program with me, and they've also gotten the same emails.
In addition, I've seen that the incoming freshmen in this subreddit were talking about joining AP classes, and I'm curious how they did that because I have gotten no email to sign up for AP classes. The only emails I've gotten from Mary Huhn were about joining the math team, the incoming student survey, and the leadership classes.
Is there something wrong or have I just not gotten into Brooklyn Tech?

Hello, I am a student who is currently attending the 2026 Brooklyn Tech discovery program. I have heard my classmates say that you need at least an 80-85 to pass discovery, while my friend who also goes to discovery says you need at least a 65. I haven't asked any of my teachers or the program contact about it yet. I was about to, but I chickened out last minute. It would be very helpful if anyone who went to the brooklyn tech discovery program in recent years could comment and give their experience in this program.
This program ends on August 6, so I have around 5 more days until it ends. So far, waking up has felt like hell and math is extremely hard - they're giving me questions I have never seen before and I have taken the algebra regents and passed with a 94. I have a 95 in math and a 94 in ela so I think I'll be fine.
