Did 40mg of Strattera work best for anyone else?

Hey everyone, how's it going?

I've been on Strattera for 4 months now. I made it up to an 80mg dose, but the side effects were too much for me, and I haven't really felt much extra benefit past 40mg—which was actually where I felt the most improvement...
My question is, has anyone here stabilized on 40mg? I'm going back down to that dose, but I'm worried it might be too weak or become ineffective over time.

Im 28M

Thanks in advance for any insights or shared experiences

Is 80mg too much? Headaches and resting HR around 100 bpm

Hi everyone!
A few months ago, I started taking Strattera/atomoxetine, and I gradually increased the dose with my doctor until we reached 80 mg.
After being on 80 mg for about a month and a half, I started experiencing frequent headaches/migraines, having a harder time taking naps, and my resting heart rate has been consistently around 100 bpm and doesn’t seem to come down.
Do you think 80 mg might simply be too high of a dose for me? I’m considering talking to my doctor about going back down to 60 mg, since I actually really like the medication and it has been helping me a lot, but these side effects have been bothering me.
Has anyone experienced something similar when taking 80 mg and then improved after lowering the dose?

Hi everyone,

I’ve been on 20 mg of escitalopram (Lexapro) for a while now, and it has worked really well for my anxiety. I don’t have panic attacks anymore and feel very stable overall.

The problem is that I sometimes feel emotionally “flat” — like anhedonia or reduced emotions. It’s not exactly depression, more like I’m not feeling things as deeply as before.

Because of that, I’m thinking about reducing my dose to 15 mg to see if it helps, while still keeping my anxiety under control.

The thing is, I’m honestly a bit scared to try.

So I wanted to ask:
- Has anyone gone from 20 mg to 15 mg?
- Did your anxiety stay controlled?
- Did you notice improvement in emotional numbness/anhedonia?
- How did you feel in the first few days?

Any positive (or honest) experiences would really help me feel more confident.

Thanks a lot!
