This is me - Lotus Strat

It's just for reference really, it's an early '80s MIJ Strat. I love her so much she has a lot of music in her. I blew a couple of strings on my string change but hey my middle four strings are hot.

I really had nothing to do with this beyond making my videos with my acoustic. I found a Gibson X1 with the same finish and Dennis found this for me. He did a ton of work on it I wish I had the receipt, new capacitor. He was just developing a guitar cable which I have no. 2. He called her Benzaiten.

So I was like wow this sounds really unique and he was like, "That's what you wanted right?!!".

Mystery guitar 3k

Hello gents. Very handsome guitar that I do not even remember. I was going through my email and found this today

Obviously it's from my friend Dennis he was very into Japanese guitars he had three Telecaster bodies and also my Strat . I just don't even remember this one he had few finished guitars. Kind of reminds me of a mosrite but it's so nice. If anyone knows what it is I'd love to hear it. Thanks!

Oh its from 2013. Photo on the original Google phone, pretty Jazzy

Changed muh strangs - "primo" slinks

Well it went pretty good. Top string broke probably my fault. Otherwise I'm back to Nickel after doing some Dean Markley's and I'm just losing it I love this audiosphere although it's slightly smaller with the 9.5s the nickel sound is good on my rig

Followup / old desk

Hey guys. Just want to say thanks to the two guys that logged on and helped me out and everybody here. They turned me on to the Sherwin-Williams Emerald enamel urethane which is seen here in caviar semi g.

It adds a little drama. It wasn't my idea I would have left it alone, the entire house has been painted and ithe floors redone. It's very old. I just found out the home was moved directly across the farm fields from where it sat.

You can see the paint sticks I used to prop it up I had some goobers on the feet sticking to the plastic. That's probably five coats on top and I decided to go ahead and just do the outside sides as well, as well as the drawer faces. My rule with restorations typically is do as little as possible, I work with glass. Paint on!!

Paint selection for antique (old) desktop

Okay I lost all my text going back to add photos, lesson learned . I need to greatly thank this sub for helping me to switch to Sherwin-Williams after I came across a thread. The Pure White I just rolled in the kitchen was the best paint I've rolled in my life, beyond the Naples yellow, custom blue , and this caviar black .

After I painted this desktop, this person set something on top of it which left an imprint .
I don't think it was wet at the time . Can someone please recommend the type of paint I perhaps need to switch to? This is interior super paint semi-gloss, which I have used on all the walls to great effect . I have never painted antique furniture but this and the buffet I did came out with a spectacular result . Nonetheless it left an imprint, who knows . Thanks again.
