Hello everyone, I am a beginner runner training for a half marathon and wanted to share my unfortunate experience after my first long run. I recently completed my first long run of 6 miles and I believed all was well until showering last night when I felt pain under my boob. I looked and it appears that I have either a fungal infection or maybe chafing from my long run.

For my long run, I used a Nike shirt that has a built in bra and it was in a size large since I’m heavier in the chest. I believe the shirt fits me well which is why I don’t think it’s chafing and more likely a fungal infection from all the sweat getting trapped. I do shower immediately after every run so I’m not too sure what happened. But whatever I have looks pretty gross and got me nauseous when I first saw it.

As a new runner, I’m a bit discouraged and scared to add even more miles out of fear for more infections and/or chafing. I’m hoping whatever I have clears up soon as well since it’s making me want to pause on my training. I don’t want to pause and ruin my progress since I personally feel that I’m doing well.

I did read other threads and will be trying out the body glide once whatever I have clears it, but if anyone has other recommendations, I am open to them! Thanks for reading!

Hi everyone! I have a 2024 base model and today at 2:30 am, there was an email from my local dealership that I contacted them after hours. The email says “You have reached us afterhours. Rest assured, your request for information has been received and is in our queue for personalized attention when we return.” I did not contact Subaru after hours.

And then later today at 9am, I get another email with the subject line “Your vehicle sent an alert to LOCAL DEALERSHIP through its STARLINK network. It has sent our Maintenance & Repair Center a notification informing that your vehicle needs mechanical attention. An indicator in your onboard electronics system may have flashed or may be alerting you presently”.

I checked my car right now and I don’t see any lights on the dash. My recommended service date is coming up in 2 weeks, do you all think the emails are preemptively for the oil change service date that is coming up? It hasn’t done this previously for other service dates, so I wanted to check in with you all to see if this is the norm
