We want to schedule a family trip to Tahquamenon Falls. None of us have been and would like some advice on what to expect. My mother-in-law recently had hip surgery and someone told her it is a two mile hike to get to the falls. Is this true? Is there a way for us to park closer to the falls and cut down on the hike time?

I have a bunch of my late partners old shirts and jackets and am looking for ideas on what to do with them. I would rather not make them into a blanket since I already have many blankets. Any suggestions?
