Prepaid to postpaid

So I had some problems paying my prepaid bill online and ended up having to go in a store to pay my phone bill. The representative suggested I change to postpaid since it’ll make everything easier and I’d have better service.

I decided to make the change and he said that the phone bill for the next month (this month) would be a little higher since I didn’t have to pay anything last month.

My normal phone bill was $60 and he said it would STAY THE SAME $60 AND I WOULD HAVE SOME FEES ADDED…that’s not at all what happened.

This guy changed me from $60 prepaid to $100 post paid when there is a $60 post paid, so why didn’t he change me to $60 post paid?

This is super frustrating and I’m not paying $113 worth of service I never fucking agreed to paying.

I need help

So, for a little context I am a 19 year old single mom to a 7 month old boy. I am about 3-4k because I took out student loans twice and ended up dropping out both times due to stress from the school work.

$1000 of that debt comes from me financing a phone and never making payments. (Idk man)

I cannot do college I really can’t, but I need to make sure me and my son live a good life. I can’t be like my mom, I just can’t.

I work as a server, but that’s not good money and my monthly expenses are increasing as I’m writing this post.

I need advice on what to do, where to go, how to do it, when to do it, why to do it, who to do it with, etc…

WHATEVER advice you have that you think will help, feel free to share it.
