Upgrading my speakers I think is the next move, before I begin to upgrade components of the TT. I want to get speakers that will compliment the TT upgrades over time, but of course do justice for the current specs.
My receiver will do fine, but I’m sure a quality preamp will be more beneficial.
This is my setup:
Sony STRDH190 receiver
Sony cs5m2 speakers
Sony SACS9 subwoofer

I am starting to have some issues with my turntable, so it’s time to replace.

Replacing my turntable first…am I going to get a noticible upgrade with sound sticking with the rest of this setup? I am not sure when exactly I will replace the speakers, but it’s gonna happen down the road.
If upgraded speakers should truly accompompany the turntable right away, then I may hold up and save up. Only issue is that I’m dealing with a bit of a problematic turntable.
